Little Free Libraries

My book, All We Need: The Thanksgiving That Almost Wasn’t, is now available in more places than ever. Yesterday, my mom and I drove around putting copies in Little Free Libraries all over Newington and West Hartford. So, if it was the $9.99 price point that was keeping you from getting the book before, you can get a copy for free now. And if you do grab one of the copies, you can go to Goodreads and rate it and review it.

Little Free Library is an interesting organization. I didn’t know much about them before embarking on this mission. They have a website, Take a Book. Share a Book. – Little Free Library. The website has a map that lets you find the libraries. I also learned a bit about the group. I learned that they started in St. Paul, Minnesota. Their mission is to get a library box in every community, and they help set them up. Their values are Access, Collaboration, Equity, Respect, and Transparency. They say that a book is shared about every day at the boxes.

So, today I’m asking that you support the Little Free Libraries in your community. I would be thrilled if some kid finds my book in one of them and truly likes it.
